Sri Akshobya Tirtharu

Sri Akshobya Tirtharu was an incredibly devoted ascetic who effectively guided the Kanva Matha during his brief but impactful tenure from 1809 to 1811. Receiving his spiritual initiation from Sri Vishnupriya Teertha , he diligently upheld the rigorous worship traditions of the Peetha. He gracefully passed the lineage to Sri Vidyadheesha Teertha before entering his Brindavana in Bilebhavi.
