Sri JambuKandi Acharyaru

Sri JambuKandi Acharyaru (also known as Ibhavarada Vittala Dasaru) was an extraordinary scholar and Haridasa. A staunch devotee of Sri Vadiraja Tirtharu , he dedicated his life to establishing the doctrine of 'Vadiraja Rujutva' through his monumental 44 surviving granthas. A brilliant debater, he defeated renowned pundits in Kashi and was honored with a golden Pallaki, which he humbly surrendered to his Guru—the very same palanquin still used for Udupi Krishna today. He performed profound miracles, including reviving the dead in Sode, and installed the Veena Paani Prana Devaru at Dhavala Gange. Through his profound teachings and majestic Dasa Sahitya, he spread the absolute supremacy of Lord Hari, leaving an eternal legacy before attaining his holy rest at Ballari.
