📖 About Sri Jithamitra Tirtharu
Sri Jitamitra Teertha was a phenomenally devoted ascetic who, as a young boy named Ananthappa, miraculously fed a sacred Narasimha Saligrama that visibly accepted his offerings. Later in his tenure, while deeply meditating under a tree, he was entirely engulfed by the massive floods of the Krishnaveni river for seven days, yet emerged completely dry and undisturbed! Earning immense reverence for his unfathomable spiritual powers, he successfully guided the Matha before his Brindavana pravesha in Jithamitra Gatte, Shivapura.
