📖 About Sri Krishnadwaipayanaru (UM)
Sri Krishnadwaipayanaru (UM) is a deeply revered ascetic whose miraculous journey began in his youth when he fell into a river and was miraculously saved by Sri Vedavyasa Tirtharu . His savior immediately granted him sanyasa and named him Krishnadwaipayanaru. Undertaking an astonishing akhanda tapas, he chanted one crore Vedavyasa mantras and attained the divine darshan of Sri Vedavyasa Devaru. His supreme spiritual stature was famously recognized by Sri Raghavendra Swamy (Rayaru), who, while teaching his disciples, suddenly stood and offered reverence to the sky, explaining that Sri Krishnadwaipayanaru was departing to the celestial realm in a Vimana. He chose for his holy Brindavana the sacred village of Kusumurthi on the banks of the Bhima river, a spiritually vibrant location blessed by the Krishna-Bhima Sangama and the presence of Sri Jitamitra Tirtharu .
