Sri Lakshmi Kantha Tirtharu

Sri Lakshmi Kantha Tirtharu resided at Narasimha Theertha, deeply devoting himself to the worship of Lord Yoga Narasimha before settling in Vengere, Tamil Nadu. Deeply moved by the township where every household served as a Gurukul, he provided religious guidance to the local community and the royal family of Karur. He designated Sri Srikantha Teertha as his successor before his immortalization in 1767. His holy Brindavana is located at Venkarai.
