Sri Lakshmi Pathi Tirtharu

Sri Lakshmi Pathi Tirtharu was uniquely celebrated as both a great spiritual scholar and a compassionate doctor who healed patients using herbal medicines, affectionately earning the name 'Thondekai Swamy'. He expertly managed the Ashram for 15 years while serving the community's health. He ordained Sri Lakshminatha Teertha as his successor before entering his Brindavana at Pallippalayam, and the blessed vegetable is still offered at the Mutt in his memory.
