Sri Lakshmidhara Tirtharu

Sri Lakshmidhara Teertahru being the 22nd yativarenya of Sri Shirooru maTha, was also the younger brother of peethadhipathi of Puttige maTha (of that time). He ruled the samsthana for 15 years & he spent his final days with his poorvashrama’s elder brother, who was the peethadhipathi of Puttige maTha. He entered Vrindavana on the holy day of Shravana Bahula Ashtami of Rakshasa Samvatsara (1735 CE) at Puttige.
