Sri Lakshmivallabha Tirtharu

Sri Lakshmivallabha Teertharu happens to be the disciple (Vidya shishyaru) of the then peethadhipathi of Shri Krishnapura maTha. He was the greatest yativarenya & happened to be the 26th peethadhipathi of this guruparampara. He had observed Vishnu Panchaka thrice, conducted Bhagawatha saptaha once & conducted Sudhamangala thrice. Through the teerthayatras he did, whatever he got the materials in the name of donation from sadbhaktas he had done Prayaya. Also, he earned many number of properties for Sri Vittala devaru. He ruled the samsthana for 57 years. On the day of Vaishaka Bahula Dwadashi of vyaya samvatsara (1886 CE) ; after performing Ekadashi vratha, towards the fag end of Dwadashi pooje or during the mahamangalarati of Sri Vittaladevaru, he attained paramdhama in the presence of his successor Sri Lakshmisamudra teertharu & other sadbhaktas at Udupi.
