Sri Madhava Tirtharu

Previously known as Vishnu Shastri, Sri Madhava Teertha ru was the highly esteemed third pontiff to ascend the sacred seat of Sri Uttaradi Matha after Sri Madhwacharya. During a miraculous event while worshiping the Moola Rama and Moola Seeta deities, he witnessed the divine, invisible presence of Srimad Acharya himself performing the pooja, leaving the devout spectators astounded. He authored profound commentaries on the Vedas and the Parasara Smriti, playing a crucial role in establishing the foundational traditions of the lineage before entering his Brindavana in Vedash Theertha Vidyapeetha, Mannur.
