📖 About Sri Madhwanatha Tirtharu
Sri Madhwanatha Tirtharu was a legendary Bidi Sanyasi of the Sodhe Matha parampara, possessing an astonishing memory and unmatched intellect. Even as a child of 5, he completely memorized the Sri Sumadhwa Vijaya! At just 16 years old, he was invited by the King of Thiruvananthapuram. In an incredible dream, Lord Padmanabha Himself appeared and profoundly blessed him! He then presided over the King's Navaratri Sabha, spectacularly defeating all scholars in debate. The stunned King honored him with a grand procession and a gold chain, which he instantly presented to Lord Padmanabha, taking a lifelong vow of absolute Vairagya. His son, the famous lawyer Sri Padmanabhachar, tragically passed away at 36, and Sri Madhwanatharu gracefully spent his remaining 15 years praying for his son's eternal peace by reciting the Gita commentary his son had written. He composed profound Dvaita tippanis and entered his holy Brindavana, which features a majestic figure of Lord Hayagreeva, at Srirangam.
