Sri ModalaKallu Shesha Dasaru

Sri ModalaKallu Shesha Dasaru (born Sheshappa, 1817–1885) was an incredibly distinguished Haridasa and an Amsha of Arjuna (Indra)! Initially serving as a Kulkarni for 40 years, his life was miraculously transformed when Sri Vijaya Dasaru appeared in his dream, blessing him with the sacred ankita 'Guru Vijaya Vittala'. Moving to Modalakallu, he brilliantly composed over 40 profound Suladis and Ugabhogas. His glorious Aradhana is revered on Vaishaka Shudda Ashtami, and his holy Katte is situated at ModalaKallu.
