Sri Narasimha Tirtharu

As noted in the Madhwa Vijaya, Shri Madhwacharya recognized the divine grace of Lord Narasimha upon his disciple, naming him Shri Narasimha Teertha . An ardent devotee, he spent his life immersed in study and discourse, later touring sacred sites across India. Known as a great ascetic, he bestowed the Sanyasa ashrama upon Kamelekshara Teertha before entering Brindavana at Baghirathi in 1310.
