📖 About Sri Pradyumuna Tirtharu
Sri Pradyumuna Tirtharu was the revered founding pontiff of the Sagarakatte Vyasaraja Matha, assuming the sacred peetha in 1920 after receiving Sanyasa from Shri Lakshmipriya Teertha of the Kundapura Vyasaraja Matha. Born in Dharwad to Pt. Venkataramanacharya, he was a deeply knowledgeable scholar who received extensive scriptural education from Shri Vedanidhi Teertha at the Shri Padaraja Matha in Mulbagal. A profoundly inspiring ascetic, he was incredibly devoted to Shri Raghavendra Swamy (Rayaru) and spent his life propagating Dvaita philosophy before entering Brindavana at Krishnamurthypuram, Mysuru, in 1975.
