Sri Purushothama Tirtharu

Sri Purushothama Tirtharu was a highly erudite scholar and ascetic who successfully succeeded the legendary Sri Jeevottama Teertha . He authored critical reference texts to strictly guide the Gauda Saraswat community in performing their daily rituals. He gracefully passed the lineage to Sri Anujeevottama Teertha before attaining Haripada in Gokarna. His holy Brindavana is located at Gokarna.
