📖 About Sri Ranga Wodeyaru
Sri Ranga Wodeyaru is deeply revered for his extraordinary, miraculous spiritual journey. Originally an illiterate Brahmin who was abandoned by his family due to his intense, consuming desire to study the profound Shriman Nyaya Sudha, he sought refuge at the Matha of Sri Satyavijaya Tirtharu , where he humbly spent his days cleaning the sacred premises. Impressed by his pure devotion, Sri Satyavijaya Tirtharu appeared in his dream, instructing him to bathe in the Kamandala Naga Nadi and sit before his Brindavana. Upon doing so, he was miraculously blessed with instant scholarly mastery, understanding the complex texts directly guided by his Guru's voice. Offering his entire life as Guru Dakshina, he was initiated into sanyasa by Sri Satyavijaya Tirtharu and named Sri Ranga Wodeyar. As an independent Bidi Sanyasi, he continues to spiritually grace seekers of knowledge, and his holy Brindavana is located within the sacred premises of his Guru at Satyavijayanagaram, Arani.
