Sri Satyakama Tirtharu

Sri Satyakama Tirtharu was a deeply revered pontiff of the Sri Uttaradi Matha! Sri Satyakama Teertha was pontiff of the Shri Uttaradi Matha by his predecessor Shri SatyaParayana Teertha and ruled during the period from 1863 to 1871. His Purvasahrama Name was Shri Shrinivasacharya. After being initiated to Vedantha Samrajya , he took up the construction of Brindavana in Santebennur to his beloved guru Shri Satyaparayana Teertha and performed Mahasamaradhana. His glorious Aradhana is revered on the sacred day and his holy Brindavana is situated at Atkur.
