Sri Satyapragna Tirtharu

Sri Satyapragna Tirtharu was a deeply revered pontiff of the Sri Uttaradi Matha! Shri Satyaprajna Teertha ru was the pontiff of Shri Uttaradi Matha during the period from 1942 to 1945. His purvasahrama name was Shri Pandurangi Jayacharya. Shri Satyaprajna Teertha ru was ordained as monk and succeeded to the pontificate in 1942. After being initiated to Vedantha Samrajya, he took up the construction of Brindavana in Pandharapur to his beloved guru Shri Satyadhyana Teertha ru and performed Mahasamaradhana in a large scale. His glorious Aradhana is revered on the sacred day and his holy Brindavana is situated at Atkur.
