Sri Sujnanendra Tirtharu

Sri Sugnanendra Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Sudheendra Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 18 years. He was third son of Venkatakrishnachar who was Poorvashrama brother of Sri Sudheendra Theertha. He did Sudha mangala under Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha of Adamaru mutt in Ghatikachala. He took Ashrama in 1918. He built Shilamantapa for Puttige mutt and involved in renovation of Tirthahalli branch mutt. He was expert in Ayurveda and cured diseases of many people. He was honored as ‘Vidyavallabha” from Andhra University. He built Vittala temple in Shimoga.After handing over Peeta to Sri Sugunendra Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Udupi.
