Sri Uttama Tirtharu

Sri Uttama Tirtharu was an enormously dedicated pontiff who gracefully maintained the profound traditions of the Matha during his reign. Earning widespread respect for his deep asceticism, he powerfully uplifted the spiritual lives of his followers. He safely passed the lineage to his successor before entering his Brindavana in Udupi.
