Sri Vasudeva Tirtharu successfully succeeded his Guru and assumed the prestigious Peetha, leading the Matha with profound devotion. Though his tenure was briefly under a year, he successfully initiated the illustrious Sri Jeevottama Teertha before attaining Haripada in the holy city of Pandharpur in 1518. His holy Brindavana is located at Pandharpura.
