📖 About Sri Vasudeva Tirtharu
"
Sri Vasudeva Teertharu was one of the greatest ascetics. Once he had a debate with a Buddhist monk to prove the existence as well as the truth of Vedas & when he chanted Veda mantra, upon Srimadacharya’s blessings blooming of flowers, leaves happened in a dried tree. This incident has been entered into the history books which rarely people would have observed. Srigalu ruled the gurupeetha for 20 years. He left the mortal body & attained Haripaada at the Moksha Puri “Haridwar” on the 15th day of Magha masa of Sarvajit naama samvatsara (1347 CE). His Successor was Sri Punyashloka teertharu.
