Sri Vedavedya Tirtharu

Sri Vedavedya Teertharu being highly scholastic, he cured a disease relating to stomach for himself, by reciting the Bhashyas. Well versed in Geetha Bhashya & Brahmasootra Bhashya. He ruled the Samsthana for 23 years before passing on the peetha to Sri Maheesha teertharu. Sri Vedavedya Teertharu attained Haripaada on the day of Shravana Shukla Shashti of plavanga naama Samvatsara (1427 CE) during piligrimage at the banks of Godavari River.
