Sri Venugopala Dasaru (born Timmanna Dasa, 1722–1765) was a spectacularly profound Haridasa! Initially serving as the powerful Diwan for the Sultan of Adoni and known as 'Pangunamada Timmanna Dasa', he remarkably renounced his massive worldly wealth and high executive post for a profound spiritual life! Becoming a brilliant disciple of Sri Vijaya Dasaru at the Adoni Katte, he received the sacred ankita 'Venugopala Vittala' and beautifully propelled the Bhakti movement. His glorious Aradhana is revered on Vaishakha Shuddha Dwiteeya!
