Sri Vidyapati Tirtharu

Sri Vidyapati Tirtharu was known as the most pious and virtuous saint of his time, spending the majority of his life in Udupi. He was so deeply immersed in spirituality that he continuously chanted holy texts even while walking. He peacefully guided the Matha for 8 years before his Brindavana pravesha in 1449 A.D.
