Sri Vidyatma Tirtharu

Sri Vidyatma Tirtharu Swamiji took charge of the Shri Prayaga Madhwa Matha at the age of 72. Originally named Shri Vadiraja Panchamukhi, he received Sanyasa from Shri Vidyadheesha Teertha Swamiji of Palimaru Matha in 2004. Deeply engaged in social service and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad throughout his life, he has passionately dedicated himself to translating and publishing Madhwa philosophy into accessible Hindi. His monumental translation works include the Brahmasutra, the entire Bhagavatam, and Bhagavad Gita, and he also founded the powerful Hindi spiritual magazine 'Sarvamoola'. He entered his holy Brindavana via Jala Samadhi at Triveni Sangam, Prayag on 19/05/2023.
