Sri Vijaya Dasaru

Sri Vijaya Dasaru (born Dasappa, 1682–1755) is universally revered as one of the absolute greatest pillars of the Haridasa movement! Rising from deep poverty in Cheekalaparvi, his life was spectacularly transformed when he journeyed to Kashi and miraculously received his ankita 'Vijaya Vittala' directly from the great Sri Purandara Dasaru himself in a divine dream! As an incredibly powerful mystic, he boldly resurrected the Bhakti movement and famously became the Guru to legendary saints like Sri Gopala Dasaru and Sri Mohana Dasaru!
