Sri Vishwendra Tirtharu

Sri Vishwendra Tirtharu Theertha was an unparalleled scholar of the Shastras who faithfully performed all his ascetic duties and Japas. After traveling from the Himalayas to Kanyakumari and teaching his disciples the works of Madhwacharya, he handed the reins to Shri Vibhudavandhya Theertha and entered Brindavana at Muni Kanva's place of penance in Kaniyooru.
