Sri Viswapriya Tirtharu, born in 1958, received his Ashrama in 1972 and extensively studied the Shastras under several esteemed scholars. Renowned for his deep devotion, asceticism, and brilliant spiritual discourses, he has successfully led three Paryayas at the Udupi Shri Krishna Mutt. His monumental contributions include renovating the Silver Chariot, expanding the 'Chinnara Santarpane' program, and reconstructing the mutt's Gopura.
